About Rob Charlton
Rob Charlton has been lighting up the stage
since he was 15, and with over 30 years of
experience, he knows how to put on a great
show! Rob’s picked up plenty of awards along
the way for his amazing voice and musicianship.
He loves playing a huge mix of music—
everything from 50s and 60s rock & roll to
classic rock hits from the 70s right through to
the 2000s. If you’re a country or country rock
fan, you’re in luck—Rob’s setlist is packed with
favourites from the 50s all the way to today’s
biggest country hits.
Here’s a fun fact: At one gig, Rob was asked to play a song he’d never performed before.
Instead of skipping it, he invited the audience to sing along and together they nailed it—
turning the moment into a highlight of the night! Rob’s all about making music fun and
bringing people together, no matter what’s on the setlist.
Rob also plays mandolin and has a bluegrass set to add even more variety to his shows.
Plus, he’s been playing bass in bands for years—including as part of talent quest backing
bands—so he really knows how to keep the music rolling.
No matter what your taste, Rob brings energy, fun, and great tunes to every performance!
